BBQ’s, Braziers & Fire Pits FAQs

 Are fire pits effective?

Fire pits are much better when considering the health of your garden than a standard bonfire or campfire. However, due to its low elevation, there is still a risk of grass being burnt (unless you have a tripod that suspends the firepit from the ground).

What's a good size for a fire pit?

The best fire pits are usually between 36 - 44 inches inside diameter. This size should create enough room for a healthy fire but still keep gatherers close enough to chat without getting overheated.

Where should a fire pit be placed?

Fire pits should be placed on a level surface at all times. They should also be no less than 10 feet away from any structure or building, it is also important to keep them away from any trees, branches, and any other materials that could be flammable.

How do you clean a fire pit?

You should clean your fire pit using hot soapy water and a soft cloth to scrub the inside of the pit. Rinse the soapy water and dry thoroughly. any sitting water could cause the fire pit to rust.
